on December 14, 2014 at around 8:05 pm on Scott Avenue in the Village of Castleton Schodack Police responded to a report of an accident where a car struck a dog. Officer Miller responded to the scene of the accident and upon interviewing Harry N. Post, Jr, 57 of 14 Green Avenue, Castleton – the operator of the car – Officer Miller determined that Post had been drinking. Officer Miller conducted field sobriety tests which revealed that Post was impaired. The presence of alcohol was verified using a alcohol prescreening device. Post was taken to Schodack Police headquarters and administered a datamaster breath exam. The exam revealed that Post had a BAC of 0.095%. Post was issued traffic tickets and released to reappear in Town of Schodack Court on January 7, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
