On April 5th, 2017 the Schodack Police department arrested 57 year old William Vanalstyne of Schodack, NY. Mr. Vanalstyne, a registered sex offender, in conjuction with New York State Parole was found to have violated his requirement to notify law enforcement of an address change within 10 days of doing so. He was charged with a felony Failure to Report under the corrections law and a warrant was lodged for his appearance in the Schodack Town Court.
