On October 06th, 2017 the Schodack Police Department arrested 31 year old Shatana Balls-Suarez of Schodack, NY. The Schodack Police Department received a complaint of checks that were stolen from a residence on Simons Rd. Further investigation revealed that a firearm was stolen from the complainant as well. Ms. Balls-Suarez was arrested for the felonies of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Sale of a Firearm in the Third Degree and the misdemeanors of Peit Larceny and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail with bail due back in the Schodack Town Court for a preliminary hearing.
