On February 2, 2017, The Town of Schodack Police Department arrested Angelo Lacoy, 35 of 2 Madison Ave Apt 2 Rensselaer, NY for DWAI Drugs, Obstruction of Govemental Administration, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree all related to a motor vehicle accident on Maple Hill Road at Mid-State Lane in the Town of Schodack. Officers responded to a call of a motor vehicle accident and discovered a red pickup truck had struck a tree and a telephone pole. The impact had snapped the utility pole and wires were across the road. Mr. Lacoy resisted officers attempts to remove him from the vehicle and place him into custody. A small quantity of drugs and drug paraphealia was found in Mr. Lacoys vehicle. Mr. Lacoy was transported by Castleton Ambulance to Albany Medical Center for medical attention and for a blood draw. State Police assisted at the scene. Lacoy is schedule to appear in Town of Schodack Court on February 8, 2017 at 6:00 pm to answer the charges.
