Press Release, Arrest of Yu Feng Liu

In a press release on Thursday May 20th 2010 by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office:

On May 19, 2010, members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Office Drug Interdiction Unit, headed by Inspector John Burke, along with Detective James Morgan of the Town of Schodack Police Department, arrested a Massachusetts female.

Arrested was: Yu Feng Liu, age 45, of 402 Ridge Avenue, Cambridge, Massachusetts, charged with: Unlawful Practice a Crime, an E Felony, and Prostitution, a B Misdemeanor.

Sheriff’s Investigations, posing as a “John”, phoned Liu who was advertising her services on Criagslist.

Investigations were told to travel to Exit 10 off I-90 in the Town of Schodack and telephone Liu again. Upon arrival, Investigators telephoned Liu and were told to go to a room in a hotel located just off the exit.

The undercover Investigator went to the room where Liu performed a massage. When the massage was over, Liu did agree to engage in sexual conduct with the Investigator for $80.00 US currency.

Following Liu’s arrest, Investigators and Detectives discovered that she was part of an elaborate prostitution ring that crossed several state lines. Liu herself was not the individual answering the phone confirming appointments. The female who answers the phone is located in Boston, MA. The unknown female was accepting appointments for several women in New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Yu Feng Liu was arraigned before Town of Schodack Justice Paul Peter and was remanded into the Rensselaer County Jail on $10,000.00 bail.

The investigation will continue into this prostitution ring.
