On 9/06/10 at approximately 21:07 date the Schodack Police Department responded to 70 Lake Shore Drive in the Town of Schodack for the report of a shooting with one male victim. Investigation revealed that the homeowner and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated into a physical confrontation where the homeowner was in legal possession of a handgun with an unrestricted permit to carry a firearm. The weapon then discharged during the struggle and struck the victim in the left knee. Victim was transported to Albany Medical Center by Med Flight for treatment.
