On June 24th, 2017 the Schodack Police Department arrested 42 year old Phillip Cates of Portland, ME. Mr. Cates was stopped for operating a vehicle with New York plates without an inspection or registration sticker on Miller Rd. Mr. Cates was found to be operating an unregistered/uninsured vehicle with switched plates and without possessing a valid drivers license. Mr. Cates was also found to be in possession of over two ounces of Marijuana. He was arrested and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail with bail and is due to appear back in the Schodack Town Court on 07/05/2017 at 06:00 PM.
